The James River Association will hold our annual James River Runoff Rundown on the weekend of September 8, 9. Through this event, river enthusiasts from across the Commonwealth will cover small sections of the James River such that, taken in concert, the entire length of the James River – all 340-miles – will be traversed in one weekend. 

To participate, click the register link above, select a  section(s) of the River that you would like to cover,  then register through our secure system.  Finally email you friends, families and colleagues to request pledges to support JRA and create a personal home page.

New this year, we are also offering an opportunity for you and other river lovers to vote for a section of the river that you feel is most in need of a cleanup. Each vote is $1 and there is no limit to how many times you can vote. JRA staff and volunteers will complete a river clean up this fall within the winning section. Vote now and show your support!
